Dean Higbee started Quality Land management back in 1992 with $1500, a beat up ’58 model tractor and a prayer. Today, QLM employees 65 well trained, certified professionals who will do their very best to make your lawn and landscape the envy of your neighborhood.
Our state of the art hiring practices and employee relationships have helped us to maintain the best staff in the industry. Many of our employees have been with the company since the very beginning. We value our people and do everything possible to make sure they will be with us for a very long time.
Meet the Quality Land Management – Management Staff
Dean Higbee, Owner
Dean founded Quality Land Management and our sister company SouthBranch Nursery Company in 1992. Dean is the driving force behind QLM and still maintains a hands-on approach to business today.
Clint Hester – Vice President
Clint has been with Quality for over 11 years. A Shelbyville native, Clint has a degree in ornamental horticulture and landscape design from UT. His responsibilities include landscape design, consultation and sales for both residential and commercial accounts. Clint has designed 1000s of landscapes across middle Tennessee. Chances are if you see a landscape you like, it’s probably one of Clint’s designs.
Brent Fogle, Operations Manager
Brent is the glue that keeps QLM rolling. With over 18-years experience, Brent jokes that he picked up a Weed Eater when he was five-years-old and hasn’t laid it down yet. A Quality veteran of 10-years, his responsibilities include scheduling for weekly landscape maintenance, crew management and most importantly customer service. Brent is a Native of Murfreesboro and a graduate of Eagleville High School.
Dewayne Fishback, Special Services
DeWayne has been with Quality for 10-years. He is from Shelbyville TN where he farmed for 15 years prior to joining the Quality team. Dewayne’s specialty is spring flowers. You will find him and his crew planting and caring for flower beds all over middle Tennessee. Dewayne is also responsible for chemical spraying.
Travis Rudolph
Travis is originally from Fayetteville, TN. He attended Motlow State Community College and transferred to MTSU in July of ’99. Travis worked for Quality Land Management while attending school and has been a full-timer for the past 10 years . Travis’s Job at QLM is to assist in the production department, provide estimates, supervise landscape cleanups & small upgrades and provide comic relief. You will also find him suited up doing field work when needed.
